Every now and then a school of dolphins can be found between Dunmore East and Hook Head. The Dunmore East dolphins can be quite friendly and they may even follow the boat and jump in our wake. On your tour around the bay looking for dolphins you will also do some sightseeing. The view of Dunmore East from the water is something not to be missed. You may also see Hook Head Europe’s oldest light house; Red Head, Brownstone Head and Creadon Head headlands; the sandy stretch of Woodstown beach and some local muscle beds. Also in the area are Sea Gulls, Kittiwakes, Choughs, Herons and Oyster Catchers. Bring your camera for some great pictures!
